Baltimore Symphony Orchestra - Beethoven's Complete Piano Concertos with Yeol Eum Son

Pianist Yeol Eum Son joins Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Music Director Jonathon Heyward for a weeklong journey through Beethoven’s five piano concertos. Across the Meyerhoff performances, the program ranges from the First and Second Concertos to the Third, Fourth and the celebrated Fifth, known as the “Emperor.” Hearing the works together offers a rare chance to trace Beethoven’s changing voice and the piano concerto’s expressive possibilities, with Son at the keyboard and Heyward conducting. It’s an inviting opportunity for longtime classical listeners and curious newcomers to experience these landmark works in concert.
