On Saturday, November 8 at 12 PM, Ian Evans, founder of Bebop Bonsai and President of the Pittsburgh Bonsai Society, will lead a two-hour live bonsai presentation hosted by the UMBC Bonsai Club.

Ian will showcase trees from his personal collection, offer insight into his creative process, and guide attendees through design, styling, and care techniques. He’ll also bring additional trees and pots for sale during the event.

After the presentation, Ian will open the floor for a Q&A and “bring-your-own bonsai” critique, giving participants personalized feedback and styling advice.

He’ll be in Baltimore through Sunday, November 9, offering private bonsai consultations and services (styling, maintenance, and collection evaluations). Anyone interested can contact him directly at [email protected].
