B&O Farmers Market
The B&O Farmers Market will be returning this Thursday for its third year. In partnership with the Fell’s Point Farmers Market, the two parties plan to come together to provide a community-centered shopping experience in the front parking lot of the B&O Railroad Museum. The farmers market will be open from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursdays from May 19 through September 29. Founder and on-site manager of the Fell’s Point Farmers Market, Merritt Dworkin, plans to bring a variety of vendors to the B&O Railroad Museum some of which have been featured in Fell’s Point Farmers Market and others who will be new to the community.
The market plans to serve as a one-stop shop for fresh local produce, flowers, crafts and a variety of food and desserts. The front lot of the museum at 901 W. Pratt Street offers free on-site parking for cars and ease of access for anyone traveling by bike or on foot. Organizers hope to attract neighbors as well as those working in nearby hospitals and surrounding apartment complexes. For more information, please visit BORail.Events/FarmersMarket.
