BreastFest
The Tyanna Foundation’s Annual Party With Purpose, BreastFest,
Shares Music and Fun to Raise Funds and Awareness
BreastFest Baltimore is ready to rock!
On Saturday, October 4 from 2-7 p.m., The Tyanna Foundation’s annual fundraising event will be held at Copper Union in Mt. Washington (rain date: October 11).
BreastFest Baltimore, The Tyanna Foundation’s signature event benefits the Hoffberger Breast Center at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore. This outdoor celebration raises money for breast cancer awareness, early detection, and patient support by having the most fun possible.
Attendees can expect live music, delicious food and drinks, raffles, games, and plenty of pink as the Foundation continues its dual mission: “Save the Girls” through early detection advocacy, and “Make Cancer Suck Less” by supporting patients through treatment.
“This event represents the heart of what we do – bringing people together to support a cause that touches so many families while having an incredible time doing it,” said Anne O’Brien, founder of the Baltimore chapter. ”

About The Tyanna Foundation
The Tyanna Foundation (https://tyanna.org/) operates as a volunteer-based organization supporting breast cancer awareness, early detection, and patient support. Funds raised stay local to benefit patients and survivors in the community. It was founded by five sisters in honor of their mother, Tyanna Barre O’Brien, who lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 48. Through the work of her daughters Anne, Bridget, Megan, Sara, and Katie—and everyone who raises a glass (and awareness) in a mother’s honor—Tyanna’s legacy lives on.
