BSO Presents GospelFest 2023: Too Hot to Handel
Gospel music is a quintessentially American art form. Designed with gospel-lovers and newcomers in mind, and under the direction of BSO Assistant Conductor Jonathan Rush, the BSO’s GospelFest 2023 will feature powerhouse choirs and lead gospel stars. This concert will feature Nadja Scott & Divine Anointing Choir and The Jonathan Pettus Chorale.
The Saturday, April 29 GospelFest concert features Karen Clark Sheard, the Morgan State University Choir, and the Howard Gospel Choir. Concerts can be purchased individually or packaged together for a 20% off promotional price. For more information and tickets, visit BSOmusic.org.
GospelFest 2023 is a part of the BSO’s Kids Listen Free program. Children ages 7-17 may attend for free with the purchase of an adult ticket. Reservations should be made in advance, by phone, or in person.
