Cultivating Sustainable Futures: Lettuce Grow Some Food

Explore the future of farming!

Conduct experiments on water transport, discuss resource conservation, and create your own hydroponic system using recycled materials—all in this fun and informative 3-hour workshop designed for ages 7-10. All participants will take home their very own hydroponic unit to grow produce at home. The future is lookin’ green!

This workshop is led by instructors from Seedling— a non-profit working to improve health outcomes in Baltimore youth through food equity education.
