Cycling Smart Bike Ride
Bikemore’s Free Cycling Education Program includes Bike Rentals
Bikemore is hosting a cycling education class on Saturday, June 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The free public event will begin and end at Bikemore, 2209 Maryland Avenue in Baltimore, and includes free bike rentals.
Jed Weeks, Bikemore’s interim executive director said, Cycling Smart is a hands-on course that gives bikers tips, tools, and safety techniques to ride confidently in traffic. It’s designed to reach people of all ages and abilities by improving their skills and building confidence to ride safely on city streets.
To ensure that everyone can participate, Spin will supply free bicycles and helmets to anyone that needs them.
Tim Wilcox, Spin’s government partnerships manager said, We are pleased to support Bikemore with its effort to bring this biking and safety education course to Baltimore.
