David Sanborn

One of the most iconic saxophonists for six decades and counting, Sanborn is described by critic Scott Yannow as “the most influential saxophonist on pop, R&B, and crossover players of the past 20 years.” Although a jazz musician at heart, Sanborn has transcended genres and musical boundaries throughout his entire career. He’s toured or worked with many legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Gil Evans, George Coleman, Paul Butterfield, Paul Simon, James Taylor and many more.

In his six decade (and counting) career, Dave has released 24 albums, won six Grammy Awards, and has had eight Gold albums and one Platinum album. He continues to be one of the most highly active musicians of his genre. As a whole, Dave is an artist who pushes the limits and continues to make music that challenges the mind and goes Straight to The Heart.
