Experimenting With Liquid Watercolor Ink

Liquid watercolor ink is a rich and vibrant form of watercolor paint that is incredibly fun to use and adds lively transparency to a painting.  We’ll experiment with caressing our 100% cotton watercolor paper with droplets of ink and then use our brushes to gently press and coax the color into various flower shapes such as purple and blue wisteria, bright red poppies, and amber tulips. All materials are provided, participants will take home a matted painting, and there will be wine!
