Freakness

Get weird at Freakness, Baltimore’s annual creature race celebrating creativity, community, and all things wonderfully strange! On Saturday, October 24 from 2–5 p.m., teams of two will transform into creatures and jockeys for a three-part competition featuring a footrace, silly dressage and obstacle course, and a Best in Show costume competition.

Whether you’re racing, showing off your best creature costume, or cheering from the sidelines, Freakness is a uniquely Baltimore afternoon of fun for the whole community. This year, proceeds from Freakness will benefit Empact Art, supporting their work using art and creativity to build community.

Participants will need a teammate, team name, costumes, and a song for their dressage performance. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to come cheer on the creatures!
