Governor's Minority & Small Business Outreach Summit
The Governor’s Minority & Small Business Outreach Summit is heading to Baltimore on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, and will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Due to its growing popularity, the event was moved this year to the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor and is expected to attract over 800 local, small, minority-owned, women-owned and veteran-owned businesses and dozens of prime contractors.
Attendees will discover how to tap into more than $7 billion in state contracting opportunities and benefit from a powerful lineup of workshops, networking sessions and insider tips designed to help their businesses break into the lucrative world of government contracts. Attendees also will connect with key decision-makers, learn how to craft winning bids and discover how certifications like minority-owned and women-owned can give them a competitive edge.
For prime contractors, this is a unique opportunity to expand their network of qualified subcontractors, meet diversity goals and strengthen relationships with key government agencies.
The Maryland Department of General Services, Maryland Department of Transportation and University System of Maryland will host this year’s summit, which isn’t just about contracts, but also about creating pathways to economic growth, job creation and a thriving local business community.
Registration is $75 for small and minority-owned businesses, $750 for prime contractors and $500 for Maryland state agencies.
