Join us for a FREE community celebration highlighting health, wellness, community resources, and the exciting work happening right here in our neighborhoods, all while celebrating the 150th anniversary of Johns Hopkins University!
The Johns Hopkins Institute for Clinical and Translational Research invites you and your family to a fun-filled day focused on connecting the community with health resources, local organizations, wellness opportunities, and the people behind groundbreaking research and healthcare initiatives. This event is an opportunity to receive free health screenings, meet local healthcare and research teams, connect with community organizations and vendors, and learn about programs and services available to you and your family.
Whether you are interested in improving your health, learning about community resources, exploring research opportunities or simply enjoying a great day out with family and friends, there is something for everyone!
This family-friendly community event will feature:
• FREE Blood Pressure, Hearing, and Eye Screenings
• Meet Local Research Teams and Healthcare Professionals
• Community Organizations and Local Vendors
• Prizes, Giveaways, and Games
• Bounce House and Face Painting
• Kids’ Science Activities
• FREE Interactive Activation Zones, including:
– Make-Your-Own Smoothie Pedal Bike Station

We will also host a special Quiet Hour from 10–11 AM designed to provide a calmer and more relaxing environment for attendees. During this time, guests can enjoy a peaceful start to the day featuring a Tai Chi demonstration and a yoga demonstration focused on wellness, mindfulness and movement.
