Highwire Improv at the Lou Costello Room
Highwire Improv makes a triumphant return to the Lou Costello Room, in the 2nd floor of Zissimos Bar in Hampden! Come join us for monthly laughs on the 3rd Saturday of every month with a rotating cast of the city’s best improv ensembles, as well as frequent regional and national touring guests!
The bar is open all day, and the upstairs comedy room opens at 6:30 p.m. for a 7 p.m. showtime!
This month’s acts include:
All In, Pitches! creates a thematic improvised musical montage accompanied by guitar based on a simple audience suggestion.
Brad’s Dad is a local indie improv troupe that starts calm and reasonable but accelerates towards mayhem with no breaks!
Mouth Stuff is a long running and widely lauded Baltimore ensemble that creates a kaleidoscopic wild world full of energy and characters!
About the Venue:
The Lou Costello Room has been a mainstay of the Baltimore comedy scene for over a decade, regularly producing standup, improv, and sketch comedy shows in collaboration with many production companies. They also frequently host music and variety events from their location on Hampden’s 36th Street, ‘The Avenue!’
