HONEY CHILE Fest, is a one-day cultural celebration of the creative works and the diverse stories of ‘Honeys’ (Black women 40+), through film, candid sista-girl conversations and community, shining the spotlight on Baltimore and its homegrown artistic talent!

Presented by HONEY CHILE, the indie production company founded by award-winning writer/director and Baltimore native, Felicia Pride (Really Love, tender, “Grey’s Anatomy”), featuring live conversations with “Chile, Please” podcast hosts Felicia Pride & Ivy Grant, DJ/Podcast/Author Ty Alexander, and a special curated block of films from Black Femme Supremacy Film Festival founder, Nia Hampton.

HONEY CHILE’S NAACP-nominated “Chile, Please” podcast hosts Felicia Pride & Ivy Grant invite audiences to the first live audience edition! Pull up a seat to the personal and hilarious exploration of the pleasures and pains of being Black and women ‘of a certain age.’ This episode will feature special guest, multi-hyphenate and Baltimorean Ty Alexander in a conversation about starting over, pivoting and following your dreams.

The homecoming Baltimore premiere of ‘LOOK BACK AT IT,’ a forty-something single mother who gets her groove back with a little assistance from her teenage daughter, starring Baltimore natives Angel Laketa Moore and Natalie Carter. Written, directed and produced by Black women, filmed in Baltimore by some of the city’s finest artists in the heart of the city, Felicia Pride’s latest award-winning short is a love letter to the city that raised her and the women who dream, suffer and love hard. The screening will be followed by a talkback with the crew.

Black Femme Supremacy Film Festival’s curated “Defining Baltimore” film screening block will showcase Darren Mallet and Shannon Shird’s ‘Bodymore,’ Uni Q Mical’s ‘769 W. Saratoga’ and an encore presentation of Felicia Pride’s Look Back At It, musing on what life is like for the Black femme in Baltimore. The screening will be followed by a talkback with the filmmakers.

Official HONEY CHILE Fest after party celebration will be held at LeMondo (406 North Howard St.) featuring music by DJ Ty Alexander!
