Intro to Basket Weaving: Star Struck

Students will learn to make a hanging basket with an ascending back, twine around the top with a space-dyed round reed and manipulate the seagrass rim filler to form a handle. Students will add a spray of pip berries adorned with a rusty tin star. Students will have a choice of pip berries colors. Students will learn basic weaving techniques that are used in many basket styles.
