Introduction to Miniature Art

This course is about the fine art of miniature painting, a tradition reaching back in history from ancient coins to transportable pocket portraits. Today’s miniature painters may tackle any subject in a variety of mediums, creating intimate worlds that fit in the palm of your hand. In a hands on demo using acrylics on claybord, Judy will demonstrate some of the techniques used in her miniature animal and landscape paintings discuss the rules and guidelines of miniature art societies and exhibitions.
