Invent the Future

What does the future look like to you? Bioengineered glow-in-the-dark pizza, perfect for late-night snacking? Flying cars and teleportation tubes? De-extinct dinosaur pets? Get excited about the future of STEM with an afternoon full of future-focused hands-on discovery. Engage with local scientists, inventors, and more on Saturday, November 15 at the Maryland Science Center.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Become a space robot and follow the instructions given by Mission Control
  • Discover what it might be like to live on another planet or moon
  • Check out a robotics demonstrations lead by FIRST Robotics Competition Team 2199 “Robo-Lions”
  • Explore the Space Telescope Science Institute’s latest outer space research through hands-on activities and science talks on the Roman Space Telescope and the James Webb Space Telescope

All activities are free with paid admission or membership.
