Journey Within: An Evening of Wisdom and Meditation with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
An exciting event coming to Baltimore featuring world renowned global humanitarian, peace ambassador and one of the most recognized changemakers in the world today, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The event an evening of wisdom and meditation led by Gurudev and is open to the public.
As the founder of the Art of Living Foundation, Gurudev’s lifelong work focuses on peace, unity, hope, and self-renewal at both individual and societal levels. This event will be a special for Gurudev to be in Baltimore City and at an extremely important time. While the fabric of our society has been torn apart by polarization and isolation, Gurudev’s work intends to unite us and bring our society and world together, a message he plans on bringing here to Baltimore.
The event also serves as a precursor to the Fourth World Culture Festival – the first in the United States – to be held at the National Mall in Washington DC, September 29 – October 1, an initiative by the Art of Living Foundation and recently launched by the Mayor of D.C Muriel Bowser. It is expected to attract over 300,000 in-person attendees and millions of online viewers. There have been over 280,000 registrations already for the main World Culture Festival event with an astounding rate of 6,000 new registrations pouring in daily, and millions of online viewers expected.
The event has a strong history of attracting high-profile attendees, including Presidents, Prime Ministers, and business leaders from all continents. This year, the event will be chaired by the 8th Secretary-General of the United Nations, H.E. Mr. Ban Ki-Moon, further adding to its prestige.
