Juneteenth at The Lewis

The The Lewis museum will center its 2026 Juneteenth activities on the national theme: “Juneteenth Brings Balance to America’s Celebration of Freedom.” The objective of this celebration is to examine the ongoing challenges to American freedom and address historical imbalances, with a specific focus on those communities historically omitted from the country’s primary story.
