La Manga (Brooklyn, NY) – an all-woman collective and cultural identity lab whose Bullerengue, Cumbia, and Tambora rhythms channel the power of Afro-Colombian drums and bailes cantaos to celebrate life and open percussive portals between worlds.
Konjur Collective (Baltimore, MD) – whose improvised radical forgeries of sound and sonic rituals for revolutionary futures embrace musical approaches from throughout the African diaspora with a clear creative pulse shaped by Baltimore.
Ojos Magníficos (Baltimore, MD) – a multidisciplinary artist whose ancestral tattoo medicine opens up portals for collective healing, planting seeds of hope for our self-determined future.
