Let's Make it Awkward (Together): Make Studio's 14th Anniversary Celebration and Art Show

Do you remember what it was like to be 14? We sure do! It was often fun, and creative, and silly, and adventurous, and a time for rapid growth. But, also… was it, perhaps, a bit, uh…awkward?
Please join us as we celebrate our 14th organizational birthday this February, and let’s all be awkward together in the best possible ways!
From 3-6 PM, stop by to view our annual member artists’ group exhibition, featuring recent favorite and exceptional selections, and to join the artists for cake and a toast.
Starting at 4:30, we’ll be treated with a special capsule edition of Mortified!! If you’re not already familiar, Mortified (tagline: “Share the shame”) facilitates adults in sharing their most embarrassing childhood artifacts (journals, letters, poems, lyrics, plays, home movies, art) with others, in order to reveal stories about their lives. 4 brave storytellers will share preciously awkward, art-related admissions for us.
RSVPs are not required; however, please stay tuned as a ticket link is added here soon because we’d appreciate having a better head count going into this special day.
Our 14th-anniversary exhibition will be on view in our gallery through March 22.
