Maritime Macabre
This lantern-light tour of USS Constellation occurs after dark, lasts about 1 hour, and makes a great activity after you’ve had dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.
Accompany one of Constellation’s crew by lantern-light and hear authentic, historical accounts of unfortunate happenings aboard this 19th century warship described in the 1862-65 diary of ship’s yeoman, Moses Safford.
Walk among all four decks of the ship, with a hands-on activity, and a ghost story taken right out of the primary source material.
*Parental Guidance* This program is generally family-friendly, but discusses injuries and deaths that occurred aboard ship and may disturb some visitors.
