FACT: A character-driven musical show weaving together a story with a moral at the center of everything. And that’s a FACT!
Forgetful Squirrels: True-to-life storytelling will inspire intense human characters and top-speed comedy from this experienced Eastern Shore team.
Plot Twist: Plot Twist is a talented group with a diverse array of players that all offer something unique. They focus on longer scenes, but be prepared for some plot twists!
Heist Heist Baby: Working from memories of things we wish we had back, this Washington, D.C.-based team explores the possibilities that exist when you change the past.
What is an improv show, exactly?
Improv is live theater created spontaneously by the performers with the inspiration of the audience. Unless noted otherwise, it’s a comedy show, made even more exciting, intriguing, and hilarious by the fact that none of it is pre-scripted! At an improv show you’ll see a wide range of creative and fascinating humans perform a highwire act by making comedy out of thin air! It can take many forms, including short competitive games, slice of life scenes, and full length sitcom or movie style performances!
A Highwire Improv show is truly a once in a lifetime performance, never done before and never to be done again!
About the Venue:
The Highwire Center is Highwire Improv’s home base in the Highlandtown neighborhood of Baltimore! Part of Highlandtown Main Street and the Highlandtown Arts District, The Highwire Center is home to classes, free workshops, shows, community events, corporate training, and more! The Highwire Center is accessible, with ramp access available, an ADA restroom, and flat transit throughout the space.
