Modernisms at the Jewish Museum of Maryland

Curated by professor and multidisciplinary artist Susan Isaacs, this exhibition showcases 13 Baltimore individuals whose work engages with modernist art theories such as Post Impressionism, Fauvism, German Expressionism, Cubism, Art Deco, Surrealism and Bauhaus. The Jewish Museum of Maryland reopened in March 2025 after an extensive 18-month renovation aimed at redefining the visitor experience and engaging the community.
