Nii Akwei Adoteye is set to return to the Keystone Korner stage for another outstanding performance, following his highly successful performance with Undercover Note last spring. This time around, Nii Akwei will once again take center stage on saxophones, accompanied by the incredibly talented pianist Minh Vo.
Joining them in this musical journey is Dr. Javier Nero, a trombonist of international acclaim. In addition to his remarkable achievements, Javier serves as a faculty member at The Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University, bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience to the next generation of musicians.
Delorean Fullington, a seasoned jazz veteran originally hailing from Miami, Florida, will be a key presence in the quintet. His extensive contributions to the Baltimore jazz scene have solidified his reputation as a prolific and accomplished performer.
Rounding out the ensemble is Greg Casement, a drummer known for his powerful yet sensitive rhythms. When he’s not creating captivating beats, Greg is a prominent figure in the local music education community and dedicates his time to educating the next generation of musicians as a high school teacher in Montgomery County, Maryland.
With this exceptional lineup of musicians, Nii Akwei and his Quintet promise to deliver an unforgettable night of jazz at the Keystone Korner.
