Leave the grown-ups at home and spend the day exploring the wild side at the Maryland Zoo! Our Out-of-School Day Adventures are packed with excitement, discovery, and animal fun just for kids ages 7–12.

Join our Conservation Education team for a full day of nature-based play, wildlife exploration, and hands-on activities designed to inspire young animal lovers.

Adventures include:
Tours of the Zoo
Animal ambassador meet and greets
Games and crafts
Behind-the-scenes surprises!
This is one day off school they’ll never forget!
