The Runway Has Gone to the Dogs… and Cats! Get ready for the hottest runway show on the East Coast featuring an all-star model lineup and adoptable animals!

If you don’t show up already covered in pet hair, you’ll definitely leave that way…

Pawject Runway is a high-energy fundraiser and adoption event bringing together adoptable dogs and cats from the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) with Show Your Soft Side’s “Big Softies,” including pro athletes, media personalities, musicians, and local leaders. Big Softies walk animals down the runway, help share their stories, and spark real connections that often lead to forever homes.

Will you be rubbing elbows with familiar faces from the sports and music worlds? Or cozying up with kittens and puppies in our Cuddle Corner? (Pro tip: you don’t have to choose).

For more than a decade, this bi-annual event has supported lifesaving at BARCS, Maryland’s largest open-admission shelter, and Show Your Soft Side’s national mission to prevent animal violence by redefining strength as compassion.
