Project Artscape
The Walters Art Museum will be hosting a one-of-a-kind runway event showcasing the works of three winning designers from the Project Artscape Fashion Weekend. The show will take place on Saturday, December 14 in the Walters Sculpture Court and will be hosted by fashion gurus Caprece Jackson and Travis Winkey. In addition to the runway show, attendees will also hear from fashion professionals and see images of original designs created in dialogue with artworks in the Walters collection.
During Baltimore Fashion Week, The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA) announced the top three designers from this year’s Project Artscape Fashion Weekend. The winners, which were determined by attendees and the Baltimore community include Eryn Boggs, Dr. Marilyn Walker and Abisola Oladeinde. The runway finale is a collaboration between BOPA and The Walters Art Museum, and attendees will take part in a much-anticipated conversation celebrating Baltimore’s fashion community created by both established and emerging designers.
