Come join Sip & Script for an evening of modern calligraphy, craft beer, and creative connection at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery!
Whether you’re a total beginner, a stationary lover, planning a special event, or simply looking for a unique night out, this hands-on workshop is the perfect way to unwind and learn a new skill in a relaxed brewery setting.
This workshop is designed for beginners and welcomes all experience levels. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable using a dip pen and ink while learning the foundations of modern calligraphy in a relaxed, encouraging environment. We’ll guide you through basic strokes, letterforms, and techniques using tracing paper and lettering guides to help build confidence and muscle memory as you develop your own style. Whether you’re trying calligraphy for the first time or looking for a creative refresher, this class is designed to be approachable, fun, and inspiring for everyone.

-1 .5 hours of guided instruction
-A complete beginner’s calligraphy kit to take with you
-Your first beverage – Selection of Guinness Classic & Craft brews and Non-alcoholic options
Class will start promptly at 6PM, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get settled in prior to the class starting. Additional food & beverage will be available for purchase within your event space.
18 and younger are welcome to attend the event with a purchased ticket and an accompanying ticketed adult. 21 and older must have physical and valid identification in order to purchase or consume any alcoholic beverages or zero-proof cocktails. Please drink responsibly.
