Summer Poetry
Join us for a night of summer inspired poetry readings hosted by critically acclaimed poets Traci O’Dea and Joseph Harrison!
Traci, an American poet living in Jersey, UK, has received high praise for her two poetry books. Author Sophie Cousens calls Traci’s book Waving (Assure Press) “illuminating, modern and fierce.” Of Restricted Movement (Scotland Street Press), The Wire screenwriter Rafael Alvarez says, “Traci O’Dea has written verse that complements her old man’s visions like a tugboat pulling a freighter out to deep water.”
Joseph Harrison is the author of six books of poems, most recently Sometimes I Dream That I Am Not Walt Whitman (Waywiser 2020) and Shakespeare’s Horse (Waywiser 2015). He has received a Guggenheim fellowship and an Academy Award in Literature, among other honors.
