Sunday Sounds In The Park concert series

The Sunday Sounds In The Park concert series is in it’s 14th year in Union Square Park. The series is on the last Sunday of each month from April through October. Performances are from 4-7 p.m. Union Square Park is located at 31 S Gilmor Street, Baltimore, MD 21223. Bring your blankets, chairs, food and drinks to have a picnic and enjoy a wonderful show in our beautiful and historic Union Square Park.

WAYNA

Wayna is a GRAMMY-nominated, R&B/Soul singer, actress, and writer who was born in Ethiopia and raised in the suburbs of Washington, DC. She worked as a Writer in the White House before releasing three solo albums, garnering two Billboard-charting singles and a GRAMMY nomination for Best Urban/Alternative Performance.

Wayna toured with the iconic Stevie Wonder as a vocalist in his live band, joining the Songs in the Key of Life Tour and various performances throughout the US, Canada, London, and Mexico. Opening the show will be Jesse Moody. Jesse is a guitarist& singer-songwriter blending the best of R&B, Funk, blues, rock, and pop. Inspirations from the past inform him of how to create a different narrative to today’s pop music.
