Teddy Bear Pajama Party

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see?

Brown Bear sees children and their families stomping on catapults to pack a teddy bear picnic, helping little lost bears find their way home in an eco-sensory exploration, gazing up at the stars in the planetarium, playing through the Maryland Science Center’s exhibit halls, and searching high and low for Brown Bear’s friends—Red Bird, Green Frog, Blue Horse and more!

This event is designed for children ages 8 and under, and their families. Older siblings are welcome to join in on the fun! All children must have a paid adult in their party.

What to expect:

• Check-in: Please arrive at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 to begin your Teddy Bear adventure! Bringing along a stuffed animal and wearing your favorite pair of cozy pajamas is highly encouraged.
• Special Activities: Drop by teddy-bear-themed activity stations from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
• Snack: A light snack will be provided around 7 p.m.
• Planetarium Show: Pop into the planetarium for some stargazing at 8 p.m.
• Departure: Say nighty-night to the dinosaurs and head out by 8:30 p.m.

Additional Info:

• Tickets (for adults and children) should be purchased in advance. If the event is not sold out, a limited number of tickets will be available for purchase at the door until event capacity is reached. A $2 convenience fee will be added to any tickets sold at the door.
• Unattended parking is available on the Maryland Science Center employee lot on first come, first served basis. 
• A light evening snack will be provided at 7:00pm. You are welcome to bring additional food and snacks which can be consumed in the cafe.
