Teen Lab: Relief Sculptures

Teens are invited to make relief sculptures (a method of sculpture making where the subject projects from a supporting background plane) and learn about objects in our Egyptian galleries. This activity is inspired by Soulful Creatures: Animal Mummies in Ancient Egypt.

Teen Lab is a space for teens to hang out, create art, and make friends. During this drop-in program, teens participate in creative activities, explore different cultures through art, and check out our galleries. Teens can stop by anytime between 4–6 p.m. to join in. Ages 13–17.
