The 50th Annual Baltimore Bach Marathon, featuring the Mass in B Minor

The nation’s oldest Bach Marathon returns on March 15 from 1 to 6 pm, featuring a celebratory performance of the Mass in B minor.

On March 15 from 1-6 p.m., delve into the world of J.S. Bach, as St. David’s is filled with swirling counterpoint and unfurling melodies.

Celebrating its 50th year, the Baltimore Bach Marathon welcomes the area’s best Baroque interpreters bring to life the master’s music, this year featuring a performance of Bach’s tremendous Mass in B minor, from 4-6 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. A suggested donation of $10-$20 per hour attended directly benefits the musicians and the music series.
