The James Keshap & Isaac Félix Organ Quintet

The James Keshap and Isaac Félix Organ Quintet strives to introduce the hard-swinging sounds of the jazz organ tradition to new listeners through their renditions of classic jazz organ standards and interpretations of popular music.

James Keshap is a baritone saxophonist from the Washington, D.C. area. Inspired by great musicians such as Ronnie Cuber, Cecil Payne, Pepper Adams, and many more, James aspires to evoke the authentic sounds of the jazz baritone saxophone tradition within his playing. Studying at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, he continues to hone his skills to share the sounds of the baritone saxophone.

Hailing from Caguas, Puerto Rico, Isaac Félix carries the torch of jazz’s timeless legacy, infusing it with a fresh and earnest spirit. As a rising young talent, he pays homage to the masters while carving his own path in the world of jazz. With a heart full of respect for the genre’s roots, Isaac’s humble journey promises to resonate deeply with music enthusiasts and aficionados alike.
