"The Night Owl" Late Show

Songwriter, composer, playwright and philanthropist, Wordsmith and his non-profit, Rise with a Purpose, are putting a fresh take on late-night television as “The Night Owl” Late Show debuts on December 3rd, 7:30pm LIVE from the Fitzgerald. This innovative new talk show brings a unique perspective to Baltimore’s entertainment scene, offering viewers a mix of humor, thought-provoking discussions, and a deep connection to the city.

Hosted by Chris Riehl, owner of Rent-A-Tour and a connoisseur for everything Baltimore, The Night Owl Show features a diverse range of guests, from local celebrities and politicians to everyday Baltimoreans with fascinating stories to tell. The show’s engaging format and candid conversations create a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere for audiences of all ages. Fun and interactive segments, such as games, challenges, and audience participation, keep the show lively and entertaining, while Chef Earl Arnette III cooks up some late night gourmet recipes that can be easily prepared from the comfort of your home. DJ Kevy Kev will be deejaying and providing music throughout the taping of the show.

About Rise with a Purpose

Rise with a Purpose provides tangible assistance to low-income people, underserved communities, and facilitates long-term solutions to homelessness, hunger, and poverty locally and globally through social reform, education, and advocacy. We will also conduct community-based theater programs, music projects, and cultural exchange workshops to help aspiring actors and musicians enter careers in entertainment.
