Baltimore and Brazil are both home to incredible musical talent. Yet many artists in both places have never had the resources to leave their hometown—let alone collaborate across continents. Baltimore2Brasil changes that. We are a mutual artist residency and cultural exchange that facilitates diasporic connection and international music collaboration for Black and Indigenous women, nonbinary and trans artists living and working in Baltimore or Brazil.

TIRZAH’s 1st Annual Baltimore2Brasil Concert is the first of many to show off the incredible collaborations and sounds that can come from this diaspora connection. There is so much resonance between our two cultures. This concert is a way to share that with the public.

All net proceeds from ticket sales go toward paying participating artists and funding the upcoming residency program. Thank you for your support!
