Trey Hendrickson, Brave Like Me Foundation Bringing Signed Children's Book, Pop-Up Shop to Ravens Game Day
The first 100 fans to purchase Finnegan the Football at Gameday Firehouse on Sept. 20 will receive a Hendrickson-signed copy
BALTIMORE, September 20, 2026 — Ravens fans heading to M&T Bank Stadium on Sept. 20 will have a chance to pick up a signed book from Trey Hendrickson while supporting children with complex medical conditions.
The Brave Like Me Foundation will host a game-day pop-up shop at Gameday Firehouse, the popular pregame gathering spot near M&T Bank Stadium, starting at 8:30 a.m. and continuing until an hour before kickoff.
Copies of Finnegan the Football, a children’s book written by Hendrickson and Brave Like Me Co-Founder and CEO John Otten, will be available for purchase. The first 100 copies sold at the event will include Hendrickson’s signature.
Brave Like Me will also sell limited merchandise, including T-shirts, Finnegan the Football plushies, and raffle tickets for a chance to win a signed Trey Hendrickson jersey.
Proceeds from sales and donations at the event will support the nonprofit’s work creating moments of uninhibited joy for children with complex medical conditions and their families.
“We wanted this to feel like game day, not a fundraiser people have to stop what they’re doing to attend,” Otten said. “Come out, enjoy the morning, grab a book or a shirt, get ready for the game, and know that what you purchase is helping us create some pretty incredible moments for kids and families.”
Finnegan the Football tells the story of a football learning that he was created exactly as he was meant to be. The book is centered on themes of belonging, self-worth, and recognizing what makes each child special.
“Football has given me so many incredible opportunities, and I’m excited to share that love of the game with kids through Finnegan the Football,” Hendrickson said. “It means even more knowing the book can help Brave Like Me support children and families going through some really difficult circumstances.”
The Sept. 20 event also brings Brave Like Me into one of Baltimore’s established game-day traditions.
Gameday Firehouse operates from the Baltimore Firefighters Union Hall at 1202 Ridgely St., near M&T Bank Stadium. The former fire station has become a popular gathering place for Ravens fans before home games and is operated by Baltimore Firefighters IAFF Local 734 and Alliance Collective.
