Troubled Tributary: Maryland's Patuxent River Film Screening and Panel Discussion

We are pleased to invite you to a special film screening and panel discussion, Troubled Tributary: Maryland’s Patuxent River, taking place at IMET (701 East Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21202) on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1 PM.

This short documentary examines the environmental challenges facing the Patuxent River and highlights the vital role of community advocacy, science, and environmental justice in protecting Maryland’s waterways.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Fred Tutman (Patuxent Riverkeeper), Vernice Miller Travis (Environmental Justice Pioneer), and Cari Harris (Founder of the Greater Baltimore Climate Summit), who will share insights and engage in dialogue around environmental stewardship, people of color in the environmental justice movement, and solution driven environmental work.

We encourage everyone to attend and join in on the discussion. Please share with your networks!
