Whatever Fate Decides: at the Intersection of Tarot and Theatre

Highwire Improv welcomes Neal Leaheey from Providence, RI, for Whatever Fate Decides, a show bringing together tarot and theatre.

Together, we use the power of improvisation and theatre to delve deeper into the messages revealed during a special Tarot reading for an invited guest. As we explore, the show grants our invited guest insight into their past and present as well as the mystical power to change their future in front of the audience.

Using improvised performances by the cast which are influenced by the Tarot reading itself, we discover our guest’s personal truths and our shared humanity.

Sources say that we may also be graced by a visit from the enigmatic GOOBY.

What is an improv show, exactly?

Improv is live theater created spontaneously by the performers with the inspiration of the audience. At an improv show you’ll see a wide range of creative and fascinating humans perform a highwire act by making comedy out of thin air! It can take many forms, including short competitive games, slice of life scenes, and full length sitcom or movie style performances!

A Highwire Improv show is truly a once in a lifetime performance, never done before and never to be done again!
