Winter Lights at the Observatory

The Friends of Patterson Park invites neighbors from across the city to gather for one of Baltimore’s most beloved holiday traditions — the 11th Annual Winter Lights at the Observatory. This free community celebration transforms the historic Patterson Park Observatory into a glowing beacon of art, light, and joy.

The event takes place Sunday, December 7, from 4–7 p.m., with the lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Festivities include live performances by The Ukulalas, Bahia Vieja, Juventud Latina, Charm City Sings and the Too Much Talent Band. Guests can also enjoy visits from Santa, Nutty B. Squirrel (our park mascot), and other holiday friends, along with local vendors, food trucks and handmade holiday gifts.
