WTMD's First Thursday: Craig Finn, Brandi & the Alexanders, and Rex Pax
It’s our 20th year of Baltimore’s largest free music festival series. It’s pretty wild to reminisce on how much we’ve grown in the span of two decades thanks to support from music lovers like you. We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you all season long at Canton Waterfront Park!
Join us for the inaugural kickoff concert on Thursday, June 5presented by CFG Bank and the Maryland Energy Administration. The fun will begin at 5:30 and go until 10 PM.
We’re thrilled to start the season with Craig Finn. Finn is no stranger to the First Thursday stage He performed back in 2014 with 20+ year industry veterans The Hold Steady. Finn is currently on tour for his sixth solo album, Always Beenproduced by friend and fellow musician Adam Granduciel of the War on Drugswhich is being touted as a collection of some of his finest songwriting to date.
WTMD also welcomes Brandi & the Alexandersa five-piece Brooklyn outfit who’ll hit the stage with their self-professed brand of cosmopolitan soulfusing funk, pop, R&B, and gospel with psychedelic rock.
