There’s something for everyone at R. House, a former auto body shop turned food hall. Inspired by the cool and kid-friendly food halls in Brooklyn, the ten founding chefs at R. House believed that uniting was the best way to create a community dedicated to culinary experimentation. Located in Baltimore’s Remington neighborhood, less than a mile from Johns Hopkins University, each stall features popular cuisine like poké bowls, shwarma, fried chicken sandwiches, and New Orleans-inspired soul food.

In addition to their ten stalls, R. House features a bi-monthly pop-up, where chefs test new recipes and concepts. On weekends, R. House transforms into Brunch House, a brunch party where you can find 30 menu options and drink specials. Brunch runs from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Full menus are also available from 11:30 a.m. until close.

What It's Like
The 50,0000-square-foot warehouse features roll-up garage doors and colorful sofas for a creative, industrial-chic vibe. R. House’s chefs draw culinary inspiration from locales such as Mexico, Seoul, Caracas, and, of course, Baltimore. Great for groups, R. House offers plenty of seating, highchairs, play areas, and a full cocktail bar.

On the third Thursday of every month, from 9 a.m.–12 a.m., grab the karaoke microphone and sing to the tunes of DJ Goody of Repeatable DJ Services. Find your courage with special Jagermeister cocktail specials. Plus, select food stalls stay open till 10 p.m. Karaoke is free, just register via Eventbrite for priority placement in the karaoke queue.
