Maker’s Market brings the local artistic community to the public. Makers Market will be 11am- 6pm at Downtown Cultural Arts Center, located on 410 North Howard St. This event showcases many of Baltimore’s most creative entrepreneurs, showing off handmade products made by Jewelry makers Clothing designers Artists Crafters Home/Garden Here you'll find many of these handmade options and more. With two floors of creators you’re likely to discover that edgy looking set of earrings you've been searching for, or that majestic, one of a kind, painting to hang above your couch. Makers Market, hosted by Artists Compound, also provides artists a meaningful platform to showcase and sell their creative inspirations to the local public. That is also Chastity Sollmer’s mission as Artist’s Compound founder; for all artists to live off of their craft. Makers Market is an alternative to shopping at your local mall, with an interactive family friendly drum circle, a dj bringing back the classics, live art, food vendors, and libations for the adults this is no ordinary holiday shopping spree.
