Stitching Jewish Lives
Join Dr. Jodi Eichler-Levine, author of Painted Pomegranates and Needlepoint Rabbis: How Jews Craft Resilience and Create Community, to learn about how creating Jewish art and craft is a vital form of religiosity for many Jewish Americans. Her research took her to craft conventions and homes as she interviewed over 30 Jewish crafters around the country. It provides a fresh take on how every Jewish object has a storyand on how those objects make us feel.
