BB&T presents Brew At The Zoo

May 27 – 28 | 1 – 7 p.m. | The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore
Head over to the Maryland Zoo this Memorial Day weekend for one of Baltimore’s biggest beer festival! This year don't miss the chance to see all of the Zoo's wild new additions including grizzly bear cubs, a new bobcat exhibit and baby giraffe, Willow! Tickets include unlimited sampling of 80+ brews, live music from a six-pack of great bands over two days including as If 90's tribute band and Kelly Bell Band. Access to dozens of the best local food and artisan vendors and all day admission to the Zoo.

Spend your Memorial Day Weekend at Port Discovery! Celebrate Asian Pacific Heritage Day with exciting programs where you can learn about pandas, cherry blossoms, star in the interactive Play within a Play: Tiger Tales and more! On Memorial Day, create a shrinky dink dog tag in honor of those who’ve served, learn about music in the Percussion Garden and many more exciting programs to celebrate the holiday!

Remembering the Civil War Origins of Memorial Day

May 27 – 29 | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Fort McHenry National Monument & Historic Shrine
Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine will offer special programs focusing on the Civil War origins of Memorial Day. The weekend will feature a Civil War living history encampment and ranger programs focusing on how Memorial Day began. Throughout the weekend visitors can experience the sights and sounds of the Civil War through living history demonstrations. Hear the roar of the drums as the Civil War quicksteps of the Fort McHenry Guard Fife and Drum Corps echo across the parade ground. Take a walk through the Star Fort with a ranger to learn about Fort McHenry’s controversial role in the Civil War as the “American Bastille,” and help our rangers raise the stars and stripes over the ramparts.

The 34th Annual Sowebo Festival!

May 28 | 12 – 8 p.m. | Hollins Street
Baltimore's always free and utterly unique Arts and Music Festival surrounding historic Hollins Market will be taking place this Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy live music, unique art, delicious food, kid activities and much more.

Maryland Deathfest

May 25 – 28 | 3 - 11:30 p.m. | Rams Head Live!
America's biggest annual metal party. Maryland Deathfest is a multi-day event held in Baltimore with dozens of bands from around the world.

B’Eat More Pie fest 2017

May 27 | 9 a.m. | Baltimore Museum of Industry
Come show off your pie baking skills or just come and enjoy some tasty treats! Pie drop off for those competing is from 11 to 11:30am. The fest itself opens to the public at 12pm. Pie "bites" available - sample the competition pies! Raffle & Pie Bite tickets available.

Pics in the Park: Disney's Moana

May 27 | 7:45 – 10 p.m. | Center Plaza
Pics in the Park is a free outdoor movie series on the lawn in Center Plaza in Downtown Baltimore. There is enough lawn space to seat hundreds, so tell your friends. Bring your own picnic basket, blanket, or lawn chairs and cozy up for a fun evening.

1st Annual Baltimore Drag Awards

May 27 | 8 – 11 p.m. | Creative Alliance
The 1st Annual Baltimore Drag Awards are finally here! Hosted by two of the city's powerhouse MCs; Brooklyn Heights and Betty O'Hellno, the event is basically the equivalent of The Academy Awards of Baltimore Drag. The red carpet will be rolled out for guests and awardees to arrive in their glamorous best. In addition to the awards, there will be a cocktail mixer, red carpet arrivals from 8-9pm and performances throughout the night!

Acoustic Afternoon Lunch Cruise In Baltimore - Memorial Day Weekend

May 27 – 29 | 1 p.m. | Baltimore Inner Harbor
Celebrate the holiday weekend in style with lunch and music aboard Raven, the newest yacht in the Inner Harbor. The Baltimore Harbor out to the Key Bridge will be your backdrop as you enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch buffet while enjoying sweet sounds from the upper deck. A live musician will perform acoustic music!
