Beat Making Workshop with Teddy Beats (DJ/Producer) at The Music Space

Join touring producer/DJ Teddy Beats at The Music Space in Towson for an interactive, collaborative beat-making workshop.

First you’ll learn the basics of beat making by quickly walking through one of Teddy’s sessions. After that, participants will step up to the keyboard to add a new element to the beat, one by one—whether it’s a bassline, a melody, or a drum pattern. By the end of the session, the class will have built a brand-new beat together from scratch.

Whether you’ve never touched a controller before or you’re already making music, come pull up a chair, step up to the keys and see how beats get made. This month we’re going to make a hip-hop beat.
