Figure Drawing Workshop: Gesture & Form
Calling all Artists and Novices!
Come join us February 2 & March 2 from 6-8 p.m. for a Life Drawing Workshop: GESTURE & FORM. Experience a small, close-knit group focused on learning the fundamentals of drawing from life , in an intimate, supportive studio setting.
In workshop 1 GESTURE & FORM, you’ll explore capturing energy and movement, gaining confidence through line, and inciting shapes as an essential component to forming the figure. Learn how to see the body as flow and structure not just outline.
If you’re looking to truly understand how to draw from life and not just copy what you see, this two-part series will fill you with the knowledge and observational tools of an expert. (ALL LEVELS WELCOME)
Taught by Sunmi, an author, illustrator and cartoonist who dignifies their learning through connecting the eye–mind–body–hand for a deeper, more embodied experience in the fundamentals of drawing.
