WTMD's First Thursday Festival
Don’t miss the region’s biggest free outdoor concert series! Meet us at Canton Waterfront Park for WTMD’s First Thursday Festivals—a free summer evening concert on the first Thursday of every month from June to September. (Except the July event moves to July 10th in 2025.)
First Thursdays are your chance to hang with friends, discover new music, enjoy local food and drink, and support over 80 Maryland-based vendors.
The music starts at 5:30 PM and thanks to support from CFG Bank, Maryland Energy Administration, and our members, admission is FREE. No outside alcohol, no coolers, and no glass containers will be permitted. First Thursday Festivals will take place rain or shine.

Things to do in Canton
The heart of Canton is a quaint square rimmed with restaurants, pubs and shops along O’Donnell Street. But wander off O’Donnell Square Park to the surrounding blocks and you’ll find the quintessential Baltimore—from the nearly lost Baltimore art form of painted screens to rows of classic marble stoops on traditional Baltimore brick and Formstone row houses. Enjoy the scenic views from Canton Waterfront Park, play pickleball at Club Volo, charter a boat at Lighthouse Point Marina, enjoy a classic crab feast at Captain James Landing and more!
