Homage to our Ancestors

A multi-disciplinary literary event honoring Afro-Haitian heritage, roots and cultural traditions. The evening includes an herbal mixology workshop, interactive installation, book talk, and performances for the book release of Esterline Vielot’s Coconut Paradise.

Part interactive installation, part performance, the evening centers around Afro-Haitian heritage, roots, and traditions as well as the experience of reconnecting to these ancestral legacies to gain more complex perspectives of one’s self and the world around them.
